First-Aid-Kit is a “life support kit” meant for emergency treatment. There are several medications for number of ailments in our First-Aid-Kit. Surprisingly, to date, we don't have anything to stop external bleeding. The inclusion of cotton and bandages are meant for wound cleaning and covering purpose, but in blood cessation, they are less assured. Bleeding is a non-obvious condition that may occur to anyone, anywhere without any prior alarm. Existing haemostats in market have their own limitations, especially, cost, making them impractical for inclusion in standard first-aid-kit. Therefore, we propose, AnV-Stat, the first haemostatic formulation derived from herbs, to address critical gap and benefit the population during emergencies caused by bleeding. It would reduce the need for blood transfusion, ultimately reducing costs associated with emergency healthcare. This proposed idea aims to provide an accessible and affordable solution to tackle the immediate consequences of bleeding.
