Sunbots has developed an assistive wearable navigation device that uses camera vision (Artificial Intelligence) to provide actionable intelligence to the blind and visually impaired by converting visual information into audio form. The device developed is compact and lightweight and is attached to your spectacles. The device comes with a high-resolution camera, that connects to your mobile phone through a USB cable (Type C) and has a dedicated mobile application to capture images automatically every 2 seconds. The information extracted from the image is shared with the user in audio form in the desired language from the list of 12 options. The device supports features such as object detection and classification using segmentation. The device is capable of detecting unknown objects along with currency, people, and printed documents. The user can switch between features with a simple gesture.
