There exist a chokepoint in investment casting foundries related to ceramics. In the current scenario, it takes 4-12 weeks to develop a ceramic shell for high-valued products. It includes issues such as shell cracking, defects and surface quality of the metal part. We started our company with the goal of developing indigenous technologies to streamline such chokepoints. Hence, I am proposing a feedback system that can measure the properties of ceramic shells and slurry with intelligence to resolve the defects. I am planning to innovate two devices, first one will measure the permeability of the ceramic shell and another one will measure the viscosity, specific gravity and pH of the ceramic slurry. The authentication database will be created through a partnership with the industry via free testing services for 1000 permeability specimens. After that, it will be chargeable for INR 30000 monthly as we will provide it at the Machine as a service model.
