Providing affordable housing and slum rehabilitation is the need of the hour. Recognizing this, there poised a need to find the best possible solution by moving on from conventional construction methods that are tedious, inefficient and time-consuming. This can be achieved by precast construction, in this study we have developed a methodology to construct a house in a very less span of time using the latest technologies available and have aimed to overcome the demerits of precast construction (mainly, the problems faced during transportation). After review of several studies, technical parameters, and experimental interpretations on the voided flat slab system was made and we worked on Combining both of the above developments, this solution reviews a housing proposal, its methodology of erection and capital assessment to provide completely finished, low-cost houses within a week
