More than 23 years of professional experience in entrepreneurship teaching, training, research and consulting, including over 10 years of experience in heading academic programmes, both through regular and ODL modes.

Steered growth of the Institute’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Research (CEER) and acted as the Chairperson (PG Programmes).Under his leadership the PGDM-BE programme was accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), granted equivalence to MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and it also made a beginning in attracting international students. Launched AICTE approved ‘Fellowship Program in Management (FPM)’, a pioneering research course, focusing on Entrepreneurship Research.

Has been leading the acclaimed Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) India National Team, from 2012 onwards. He has offerred Career Guidance and Succession Planning for young generation from renowned business families.Core group member of Institute’s resource team, to train Master Trainers of Technical and Vocational Training Organization, Government of Iran, during 2008-2015

He has helped Rajasthan State organization ‘Entrepreneurship and Management Development Institute’ (EMI) with its vision and strategic planning document after a critical review of its performance and potential.

He is in-charge of EDII offices of Lucknow, Bhubaneswar and Bhopal, besides Sino- India Entrepreneurship Development and Research Center, Kunming, China.

As part of Initiative for ASEAN Integration in institutionalizing entrepreneurship activities in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam, actively involved in various activities of Entrepreneurship Development Centres (EDCs) of these countries and have also conducted a series of entrepreneurship sensitization workshops for policy makers and key officials of industry departments in these countries (except in Myanmar), since 2004.

He initiated International Management Education Programme in 2002-03 with support from ITEC Division of Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India.He has introduced entrepreneurship courses at premier national academic Institutions.Convener, Bharti Centre for Entrepreneurial Initiatives at EDII since its inception in 2002, till 2010.Launched Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Stimulation for Children in 1994.

Awards

Won USASBE’s Outstanding Entrepreneurship Programme Abroad Award-2014 for PGDM-BE Programme during Annual Conference of United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE), the world’s largest association of entrepreneurship scholars, professional and practitioners, Fort Worth, USA.
