About Speaker : Shri Srikumar Misra is the founder of Milk Mantra, a responsible new age dairy foods business in India that is redefining how systems thinking and technology can disrupt the agri-foods sector and impact the lives of millions via ethical sourcing. His startup Milk Mantra is India’s first agri-foods startup to be VC funded, and has successfully scaled as a leading mid-sized premium foods business in the country, is headquartered in the eastern Indian state of Odisha, and leverages brand capital to impact more than 68,000 smallholder farmers in its ethical sourcing network. Previously he served as Director of M&A at Tata Global Beverages in London, and was part of the elite leadership resource - the Tata Administrative Service. He has worked extensively in emerging economies of the world like South Africa, Turkey, Central Europe and China. His aims to impact over 1 million smallholder farmer households by 2023 whilst solving the problem of trust deficit of millions of consumers with food. He holds patents on nutritional functional foods. He has a deep interest in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning, and also in the wilderness of the high mountains where he cherishes his high altitude remote treks and mountaineering.
