- Assist IPFC Manager in collecting/ mining data of Patents/Trademarks/Designs.
- Provide assistance to startups in understanding the IP facilities that they can avail at
i-Hub and further filing their applications.
- Provide rigorous support to Universities/Institutes for setting up IPFCs and IP Cells.
- Prepare prior art search reports, Patent Landscape reports;
- Help & Support researchers understand the potential commercial applications of
their domain and explain their value to external partners;
- Evaluate invention disclosures for patentability and commercial potential;
- Work with patent lawyers to file patent applications on behalf of the inventor and
manage patent prosecution
- Draft and negotiate licences, collaboration agreements, inter-institutional
agreements, and other contracts related to the commercial development of intellectual property with both commercial partners and collaborating institutions;
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide variety of matters.
Skills :
Require a basic understanding of all types of IPs.
Basic understanding of patent and trademark databases for conducting searches, including trademark registration processes and searches is preferred.
Ability to assist in drafting patent applications and claims is desired.
Strong research skills are necessary for gathering technical and legal information.
Clear communication skills are required for effectively conveying ideas.
Need strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is essential.
