Identify the early-stage portfolio companies for investment and assist the investment team for the same.
Market Screening and identifying potential individual investors/Angel networks/VCs for portfolio companies.
Contribute in the workings of the investment team in operations including setting up meetings of founders and entrepreneurs with the investment team.
Coordinate with portfolio companies and advisors to facilitate the completion of investment documentation, funding procedures, and post-funding processes.
Take in charge of follow ups and updates with portfolio companies on a monthly/quarterly basis for financial statements, cash positions etc.
Provide assistance in managing the database of the portfolio companies raising private and grant capital.
Skills :
Proficient in marketing strategies, accounting, financial tools, and basic investment terminologies, with a commitment to ongoing education.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on experience in handling financial data - Balance sheets, P&L statements, cash flow, projections and ratio analysis sheets.
Familiarity with ratios and basic finance formulas.
Ability to read financial statements, term sheets, cost sheets and investment projects
Capable of meeting deadlines and working independently with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
