Startup RISE - RISE Investments for Startups at Early Stage
As part of “𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐄 - 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞,", a roundtable discussion was held on 28th April 2026, bringing together government officials, investors, and ecosystem enablers to exchange perspectives on Gujarat's evolving startup landscape.
The discussion was chaired by 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐈𝐀𝐒, 𝐀𝐂𝐒, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧), who spoke about several key initiatives aimed at building a stronger culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Gujarat. He further shared that innovation hubs are set to expand across multiple regions in the state, opening up access for aspiring entrepreneurs. The discussion also covered new sectors that the state is now looking to explore and support, pointing to a growing ambition to expand the startup ecosystem.
The interaction further opened up a broader conversation around startup culture across Gujarat and India, with investors from across states sharing their perspectives on ecosystem growth, cross-regional collaboration, and investment readiness.
The roundtable concluded with founders sharing their feedback, noting the platform's ability to forge direct connections, and emphasising the value of such initiatives in making the ecosystem more visible, accessible, and collaborative.
