SKYTECH INDIA 2026 Brings Together Leaders in Space, Defence and Drone Innovation
i-Hub Gujarat, in partnership with the 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 (𝐊𝐂𝐂𝐈), participated as the 𝐒𝐊𝐘𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐇 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 & 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭, held on 𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝. The summit brought together policymakers, defence leaders, industry representatives, startups, investors, researchers and academia to discuss opportunities across Space, Aerospace, Defence, Drone and DeepTech sectors.
The inaugural session began with a keynote address by 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐣𝐮𝐧𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐚, 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, shared Gujarat’s vision for the growth of emerging technology sectors and the State’s evolving space and DeepTech ecosystem.
𝐌𝐫. 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚, 𝐂𝐄𝐎, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, also delivered a keynote address at the summit, contributing to discussions on India’s emerging Space Economy, DeepTech ecosystem and opportunities for startups.
As part of the summit, 𝟓𝟎 𝐋𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐋𝐎𝐈𝐬) were exchanged between i-Hub Gujarat-supported startups and KCCI, facilitating business engagement and potential collaborations with industry stakeholders.
𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 from the i-Hub Gujarat ecosystem were 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 during the panel discussions, sharing their perspectives on emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and the future of India’s Space, Drone and DeepTech landscape.
