Shri Prakash Varmora, Hon'ble MLA, Dhrangadhra-Halvad visited i-Hub Gujarat
On 27th February 2026, 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚, 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐋𝐀, 𝐃𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐫𝐚-𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐝 [Philanthropist, Ex-President, FIA Gujarat, and Chairman - Varmora Group of Companies], visited i-Hub Gujarat.
During his visit, he interacted with startups and investors participating in the Demo Day through a roundtable discussion, where founders presented their innovations and shared insights into their technologies, business models, and growth plans. He also toured the co-working space at i-Hub Gujarat and interacted with startups.
During the discussion, the Hon’ble MLA shared his journey from a small village background to his association with manufacturing and industry leadership. Reflecting on his early life in a rural environment, he spoke about how agriculture shaped his understanding of discipline, patience, and the real challenges faced by farmers and village communities.
He connected these learnings to entrepreneurship, noting that agriculture itself is a form of continuous innovation. Farmers constantly adapt to changing weather conditions, soil quality, and market realities, a mindset that closely aligns with the spirit of startups.
He spoke about expanding manufacturing in rural and semi-urban regions to create local employment and reduce migration, and advised that founders must focus on solving real challenges in agriculture and village communities.
He concluded by encouraging young entrepreneurs to build with purpose, develop practical solutions to real problems, and contribute actively to rural growth and national development.
