Panel discussion focused on the evolving role of Artificial Interlligence
As part of Ahmedabad Design Week 𝟕.𝟎, i-Hub Gujarat continued the “𝐀𝐈 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭” organized by Karnavati University (KU), hosting a panel discussion focused on the evolving role of 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 in creativity, design, and innovation. The session also featured a keynote address by 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 Bipin Talati (Indian Administrative Service), 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 sharing his perspectives about the role of AI in advancing the education ecosystem. In his address, he shared thoughts on how educators and academic institutions can adopt AI-enabled tools to upgrade teaching methodologies, enhance learning outcomes, and support the development of future-ready skills among students. The 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐈 & 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 examined how AI is influencing creative workflows, with discussions on human-AI collaboration, the extent to which AI may replace or augment human roles, and how AI can be used efficiently across creative and innovation processes. The panel also explored approaches to adopting AI, ranging from foundational system-level use to the application of advanced AI models, and detailed practical considerations for integrating AI at different stages of development and decision-making. Conversations further addressed the impact of AI on inclusive design, reflecting on cultural, social, and business contexts, as well as on the alignment of policy, business strategy, and technology to enable responsible and effective AI adoption within the ecosystem. The discussion concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants engaged with panelists on topics including AI’s role across the innovation ecosystem, its application at various stages of growth, and the scope and limits of AI intervention in creative and institutional environments.
