As a part of the “𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐃 𝐒.𝐇.𝐈.𝐄.𝐋.𝐃. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐲𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞” organised by the Cyber Crime Branch, Ahmedabad City Police, in collaboration with i-Hub Gujarat and Karnavati University.
𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, delivered a special address during the programme, speaking about the growing importance of cybersecurity in public safety, the evolving nature of cyber threats, and the role of young innovators and technology-led solutions in addressing emerging challenges.
𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫, 𝐈𝐀𝐒, 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, also addressed the gathering, speaking about the importance of bringing together law-enforcement agencies, technology and young talent to develop practical solutions for real-world challenges.

He encouraged startups and students to understand on-ground requirements, engage with law-enforcement stakeholders and develop practical, deployable solutions for cybercrime prevention and investigation.

He called for stronger collaboration between government, startups, academia and technology experts to develop solutions that can strengthen technology-enabled policing and public safety.
