i-Hub Gujarat Welcomes Senior IFS Delegation for Innovation Ecosystem Engagement
Visit of Senior Indian Foreign Service Officers to i-Hub Gujarat
i-Hub Gujarat hosted a delegation of senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officers on 2 September 2026, as part of the Mid-Career Training Programme–III (MCTP-III) organised by the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
During the visit, the delegation gained insights into Gujarat’s startup and innovation ecosystem, with a focus on the Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP), i-Hub Gujarat’s hub-and-spoke model, and its Mind-to-Market approach for enabling innovators and startups.
The delegation was also apprised of i-Hub Gujarat’s end-to-end support ecosystem, covering incubation, grant and funding assistance, mentorship, capacity building, IP support, legal and regulatory guidance, market linkages and infrastructure support.
10 startup founders showcased their innovations and shared their entrepreneurial journeys, providing the delegation with first-hand insights into Gujarat’s growing startup landscape. The engagement served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, policy learning and strengthening connections between India’s diplomatic leadership and the country’s innovation ecosystem.
