i-Hub Gujarat Hosts UK Student Delegation to Showcase Gujarat’s Innovation Ecosystem
A delegation of 𝟗𝟓 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟐 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 visited i-Hub Gujarat on 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 as part of their 𝟏𝟓-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 hosted by the Department of International Relations, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV), Gandhinagar
The session began with a presentation by 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, providing an overview of India's startup ecosystem and the role of i-Hub Gujarat in supporting innovators across different stages of their entrepreneurial journey.
The presentation also introduced i-Hub Gujarat's flagship initiatives, including support for idea validation, prototype development, incubation, mentorship, market access, funding opportunities, and ecosystem partnerships that enable startups to build and scale startups.
The students also interacted with 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 operating from the i-Hub Gujarat’s co-working space, who presented their innovative solutions and shared their entrepreneurial journeys, offering them insights into the process of building innovations.
The visit provided the students with first-hand exposure to Gujarat's startup ecosystem while enabling interactions with entrepreneurs and a deeper understanding of the state's growing entrepreneurial landscape.
