Ahmedabad Healthcare Innovation Roundtable Brings Stakeholders Together to Strengthen the Ecosystem
i-Hub Gujarat hosted the 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 on 18 August 2026 at the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation South Zone Office, bringing together key stakeholders to explore opportunities and strengthen the healthcare innovation ecosystem in Ahmedabad.
The session featured a presentation on i-Hub Gujarat by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭, focusing on its role in enabling and supporting innovation in the healthcare sector.
Dr. Dharmendra Mandaliya, Joint CEO, SSIP-GKS, Technical Education Department, Government of Gujarat, provided insights into the Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP) and the utilisation of funds to promote student-led innovation and entrepreneurship.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐡𝐭𝐚, 𝐎𝐒𝐃 (𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞), 𝐢-𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭 discussed how critical healthcare problem statements can be identified and mapped to innovative solutions, while creating pathways to support innovations in the sector.
The roundtable concluded with a discussion on the Healthcare Innovation Mission, bringing stakeholders together to identify key opportunities, strengthen collaboration, and chart the way forward for advancing healthcare innovation in Ahmedabad.
