𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗲𝘃 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿, Hon'ble Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship & Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India Felicitated ATL Exemplary Young Innovators of Gujarat on 18 October 2022, at Karnavati University, Gandhinagar.
Dignitaries present at the program were Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India, 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶. 𝗠. 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗻, 𝗜𝗔𝗦, Commissioner Higher Education, Government of Gujarat and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔 𝗞 𝗦 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘆𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶, Vice Chancellor, Karnavati University.
In the Program dignitaries Unveiled the ‘Amrut Navsarjan User Manuals’ and a compilation of 'Contribution towards Defence Start-ups by Karnavati University'.
During his address, Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar mentioned that "NEP 2020 is deep rooted reform for the youth of India. In the history of India Skilling, Education and Sports is been integrated in the Policy." He also added that the "Impact of Technology in non-technological areas will also create new opportunities for all".
Dr. Chintan Vaishnav mentioned that "Gujarat is the first state to give money to students who have innovative ideas."
He also appreciated the SSIP policy for covering also schools under the umbrella. He said that "In ATLs problems come before solutions. It is the only spot in the given school where students can go there and try to get the solution of problems which on which they want to work."
The programme aimed to encourage students for the 21st century skills such as design thinking, critical thinking, computational thinking, digital fabrication etc.
The program inspired the students and ecosystem stakeholders to continue their efforts towards spreading the tinkering movement which will contribute in revolutionizing the Education Ecosystem of India.
