An obturator prosthesis is generally recommended after maxillectomy to prevent nasal regurgitation of fluids, maintenance of speech and for psychological reasons. In maxillofacial prosthetics, impression making is more complicated. The traditional method involves making of a preliminary impression of maxillary arch using modified and trimmed perforated plastic stock tray with irreversible hydrocolloid to record residual portion of the maxillary arch. This Project Proposes a novel method to fabricate individual Impression trays for different maxillectomy cases to simplify the process and enhance patient comfort.
