This project proposes an underwater monitoring system using a sonar-equipped autonomous boat to count live shrimp in aquaculture farms. The boat scans the pond with variable frequency sonar, collecting data that gets processed to provide the total shrimp population. Benefits: Reduced Costs: Optimize feeding by knowing exact shrimp numbers, leading to less wasted food and lower production costs. Energy Savings: By precisely tailoring feeding, farms can potentially cut electricity use by 20-30%. Improved Farming: Real-time shrimp population data allows farmers to make better decisions and maximize crop quality. This system can significantly benefit aquaculture by optimizing resource use and improving overall farm management.
