This project aims to develop an intuitive prosthetic arm for children aged 8-16 years who have undergone below-elbow amputation. The prosthesis will utilize muscle signals from the remaining limb for natural control, while also being easy to wear and remove and having a long-lasting battery life to support a full day of use. This project seeks to empower children to use prosthesis with improved functionality which will promote independence and wield confidence socially. Developing lifelike prosthetic hands for children post below-elbow amputations promotes early adoption and reduces rejection rates. Our compact, advanced design ensures full functionality, fostering acceptance and enhancing quality of life.
